Last updated: September 24, 2025

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing PlugMapper you agree to these terms and to our accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and services.

2. Service description

PlugMapper provides curated information about electric vehicle charging locations, supporting data visualisations, and third-party integrations for trip planning. The service is offered on an "as is" basis without warranties of completeness, accuracy, or availability.

3. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the service or attempt to disrupt its availability.
  • Do not automate high-volume requests that could degrade the experience for others.
  • Attribute underlying datasets to their respective providers (e.g., NREL AFDC, OpenStreetMap) when you reuse information obtained through PlugMapper.

4. Third-party content

Links to external sites, map tiles, or availability providers are supplied for convenience. PlugMapper does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, terms, or downtime.

5. Intellectual property

PlugMapper, including its branding, user interface, copy, and original data transformations, is protected by Canadian copyright and trademark laws. You may reference the site for personal or editorial use, but you may not reuse PlugMapper branding or redistribute our curated datasets at scale without prior written permission. Underlying map tiles and charging datasets remain the property of their respective licensors (MapTiler, OpenStreetMap contributors, TomTom, NREL AFDC, etc.) and are subject to their individual licenses.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Charging availability, pricing, and operational status can change without notice. You assume all risk when relying on the information presented. PlugMapper and its contributors will not be liable for damages arising from use of the service.

7. Governing law

These terms and any disputes arising from the service are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Quebec for the resolution of any disputes.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally to reflect new features or regulatory requirements. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.

9. Contact
